Since most of this film's production has happened during the pandemic, I took on most of the functions myself. I was the Producer/Director/Filmer/Editor for UnderWaters. Thankfully I had the support of many talented friends during this crazy time such as Ananda Stone who contributed her epic underwater footage, Matthew Robinson who contributed amazing drone footage, Harry Donenfeld who contributed beautiful drone whale videos, Kristen Linblad who contributed incredible underwater stills & video, Cody Wilson & Lou Diliberto who advised me on my audio/video editing,
My background is a filmer/producer/editor for over 25 years. I began my career as an underwater filmer for tour boats on Maui.
I produced & hosted an entertainment show called Maui TV for several years. I filmed surfing & kiteboarding on Maui and around the world including filming the Pro Kite Riders Association (PKRA). On Maui I have been a location scout, makeup artist, filmer, editor and producer for over 20 years for clients such as MTV, Travel Channel, ESPN, Xterra, HBO, E! Channel, NBC Sports, Mercedes, & more.

I have taught many kids & adults how to film & edit shows & public service announcements that aired on Akaku Community TV. I have written 4 feature film scripts so far which I hope to produce one day. I am dedicated to educating my viewers about water & other environmental issues for the sake of my incredible children & grandchildren & the planet. I believe our greatest strengths are love & aloha. ANANDA STONE
CINEMATOGRAPHER
Ananda is one of the best underwater filmers on Maui. I was so honored when she allowed me access to her underwater film library with over 20 years of epic shots of coral reef and sealife. She contributed her footage to this documentary in hopes to help save the oceans.
Ananda worked for over 20 years as an underwater filmer for tour boats on Maui. She has been a professional filmer and photographer for much of her adult life and is a proud mother.
Her footage can be seen on MTV Sports, Shark Week, The Discovery Channel & Bay Area Backroads. She also participated in whale research & years of volunteer work with NGO's to protect Maui's marine ecosystem. Instagram: @ananda.stone
MATTHEW ROBINSON

Matthew is an accomplished media contractor and consultant with over 20 years of experience, working with esteemed clients such as the United States Government, the State of Hawaii, Microsoft, Talon Private Capital, Amazon, USA Networks, and various independent projects.
In addition to his successful career in media production, Matthew has also made significant contributions as a dedicated media teacher in both New York City and Maui, Hawaii. During his time on the island, he co-wrote and produced an engaging television series called "Golfing Thru Hawaii," comprising eight episodes that showcase premier golf courses and recreational activities across the state.

Driven by his passion for the industry, Matthew made the decision to return to Maui and establish ProShot Solutions, a company devoted to crafting exceptional marketing media. By employing captivating photography, immersive 3D media, and creative visual storytelling, he brings his clients' visions to life. KRISTIN LINBLAD
PHOTOGRAPHER/VIDEOGRAPHER
Kristin is a passionate traveler, writer and photographer who strives to share important stories, document the earth and its cultures, inspire people to explore, and raise awareness for crucial environmental and social challenges. She supports valuable projects, causes and initiatives through visual and literary storytelling, communications consulting and philanthropic efforts. Based between Maui, Hawaii and Charleston, South Carolina, Kristin’s work and travels have taken her on adventures all around the world with a keen eye toward finding ways to help restore the world’s ocean and indigenous cultures.
Her OCEANSCAPES ocean conservation photography platform was launched in August of 2018 and aims to inspire people to “feel the ocean” working with her underwater photography through partnerships in art, fashion, science and philanthropy. With her husband Sven Lindblad, the Founder and CEO of Lindblad Expeditions, Kristin’s vision is for a healed planet for tomorrow. Together, they run the Wanderlust Fund and provide crucial funds to organizations doing important work in cultural and environmental protection, global relief efforts, children and the arts. She recently gave birth to their daughter, Delfina Anavai, and balances being a mom with philanthropic efforts and an active life of yoga and the movement arts, kite surfing, swimming, scuba diving, and meditation and wellness modalities.
AARON
SCHONEBERGER
MUSICIAN/PRODUCER
Aaron graciously produced most of the music for the film. His talents as a guitar virtuoso, keyboard player and composer provided a beautiful soundtrack for the underwater footage and important interviews in UnderWaters.
Aaron is a father, chiropractor and ocean lover who offers healing to the world through his health services and music.
