Hawaiian Leaders, Pro Water Athletes and Conservationists.
COMMUNITY EFFORTS
There are many others who have been involved in the movement to
save the coral reefs of Hawai'i. The organizations who
sued the County of Maui were Hawai'i Wildlife Fund,
Surfrider Foundation, Sierra Club. West Maui Preservation Association and were represented by the legal team of Earthjustice.
Many more organizations and citizens have also contributed
to the positive changes taking place to save the coral reefs
around the world each day.
This is the story of passionate & dedicated people from the
island of Maui who have spent up to 30 years to make sure laws
are changed and enforced in order to promise
a better planet for the future generations.
